The Most Usefull Tool you use for R/C & unliklely tools !!
I was just thinking how much i use my trusty Dreamel.
I use it so much. I must say since i bought the option flex shaft it transformed how easy it is to use. I use it for grinding turn buckles downs. Sanding edges off on shells. Tire prepinig , All sorts of things.
Do you have a favourite Tool????

Good post!
I would have to say my Hudy set. I've had them for YEARS and they have never let me down. Of course, my dremel is the do-all tool as well and paid itself off a long time ago!

Believe it or not, I use my trusty hacksaw more often than my Dremel. I don't know if it's my FAVORITE tool, though...

Great stuff guys.
My other tool i love is my new Hitachi cordless screw driver with 21 adj clutch settings. Use it all the time. Bought a metric Ofna long shank hex set and a good phillips attachment .
Use it on all of my cars.
Can't you replace the brushes on a Dreamel or are the windings shot too??

A glass of Whiskey or Brandy
I do not know if you consider that as a tool
at home i can not focus setting-up my car if I do not have a glass beside me

most unlikely is a set of dog nail trimmers that cut body posts down flat square in a flash.

I have to agree with longboardnj; it was the first thing that came to my mind and Ihave several of which a number are so used not all sides work anymore.
Somehow I allways have to search for the one that allows the screw to go in all the way
Curved nail sissors for cutting the bodies is probably not so uncommon?

Most unlikely? The Tepee brush. They are small dental tools (like a pipe cleaner) that come with a protective cap. I get them @ my dental office (free samples). They come in several sizes, and bristle stiffnesses. I use them for cleaning diff holes, or any other small hole that needs it. They reside in my pit box, and last for quite a while -solvent resistant too. -Jeff

by the way, if you get the right tamiya wrench, the associated ball joints fit nicely in the one short side hex and support them with a little thread showing so you can easily start them in a fresh plastic piece with nice support. I have the trinity 4 way wrench with standard inch sizes that is super handy as well. The 'big brother' to the tamiya 4-way.
