Thanks to DennisM my Pro looks like a Pro now! Still liking the natural g10 tho. Next up....the optima pro body is here and will hopefully be gracing this chassis soon!
I'm keen to see how you go cutting out the Pro body, as the Pro and Pro XL both take the same body despite one car being longer so I'm not sure if the body sits in the same position at the front or the rear on the XL to accommodate the extra length
I think I have your disease as I have a NIB Pro partly built, all the bits for an all carbon XL and the bits left over from the original Ultima I bought but I now have 99% of the bits needed to build a Pro with LWB chassis but short arms ...
I have an optima pro body that was on it before and for great so I was just going to copy it I like the look of the optima pro body over the ultima bodies. Not sure which end suffered on the stock setup but I would assume the front
I was tempted to go xl on the suspension but they seem to fetch pretty good money. I'll be fine with short arms until the right ones come around

Late Edinger Gold Pan # 6010 .....Vintage Blackfoot....Electrix Circuit Stadium Truck ....Kyosho Ultima Pro XL
Here is how the previous owner trimmed the optima body to fit, and I traced it onto my TBG body so I can replicate the cut after paint. I thought about leaving more of the rear but it fits so nice without it there
Nice trim. I never really liked that undersized rear spoiler anyway. So you'll add your own wing, I assume?
