Factory Works/Team A&L Optima Mid
Finally sourced a decent set of gearboxes (thanks Mikea96!) so I could start my build. I’ve wanted one of these since I first set eyes on one as a teenager. Graphite is cool but I am still a bigger fan of glass. This one needs a few things to complete it, like front arms and rear axles, but it’s getting close. More pics to come soon

That white shocktower looks heavy to sit that high up.
Are you planning a standard front suspension? Maxxumor lazer fro t suspensions fit easily, but reall cool would be to have a trailing front suspension...

Yeah it will be stock mid front suspension. Just trying to track down some decent looking arms. Mine are all beat.

It weighs 14 grams vs the stock tower set that weighs 13 grams

So what do we learn from this? Wear white if you want to look top-heavy

It will be a while if they do
They still have to get the Javelin shipped
Make a Turbo Optima, maybe a Salute
Then the Ultima is “more than a rumor”
Which means a Turbo, heck maybe even a pro or XL?!
Then...then maybe a mid?

Wow, this is cool Jeff! I also like the look of glass. Classic...!
It would look cool with some matching glass towers. Although the rear tower would require standoffs to allow you to mount the shocks in the proper orientation for the trailing arms.
Super cool, man! I dig it.
