You probably shouldn't broadcast that kind of info...

We're cool mate. I've been a toy car junkie since I was a kid, some 50 years now. In and out of all scales of the hobby.

Re: B1M RC10 Mid Motor Conversion
I just got my wheels from the UK out of the mailbox! I'm off to my machine shop to make some stuff so later this afternoon I will do the photo shoot. It's nasty as all get out, cold a** rain so it will have to be indoor

Re: B1M RC10 Mid Motor Conversion
A few words and some pics!
My B1M is standing on it's rubbers today. Parts added since the last time include:
JConcepts Space Bars tires.
JC Racing Products (from the UK) wheels.
RPM ball cups with Lunsford Ti turnbuckles.
RPM shock pivots, front and rear. I saw these on a Factory Works build (C2.1) and thought I'd check them out. Very smooth in the AE shock ends.
AE Worlds re-re shocks with gold shafts.
AE black springs (for now, it's all I had to use).
Schumacher Talon wing.
I have no clue what I want to use for a body yet

love it! I need to order up more of those wheels some day. They were a perfect fit

Thanks Jeff! I need to add another pic, not showing the wheels very good. I'll get to that tomorrow

Re: B1M RC10 Mid Motor Conversion
Looks awesome! Really clean, well built and a nice combination of parts; everything appears to work very well together. I never noticed before how incredibly short that Savox is. You could almost stand it up. Where will you place the receiver and esc? The space left vacant by the motor just begs for something although I'm not sure what you could put back there. Maybe a simple lexan enclosure then tell everyone it decreases aero drag. Anyway, a car this nice deserves a very special body.

Re: B1M RC10 Mid Motor Conversion
Ahh man, you've given me a "spark" for something cool for that spot by the pinion. I'll see if it would fit!
The Rx and ESC will go between the servo and battery box... Rx on the right, ESC on the left. I've got a nice, discontinued Reedy speed control.

Re: B1M RC10 Mid Motor Conversion
Well, actually, the vacant space I was referring to is the space in the very back where the motor used to be. But now I'm curious to see what you have in mind to go next to the pinion. I'm gonna go way out on a limb and guess that it will be made from titanium.

Re: B1M RC10 Mid Motor Conversion
The space under the rear brace tubes...
Since the B1M is meant to be a no cut,no drill conversion that area is wide open for something. I figure you could, maybe, find a something off of a lexan body to fit over, or under the tubes. There's a few guys besides myself building B1M's so I'll be watching them.

Re: B1M RC10 Mid Motor Conversion
That looks awesome! You need to change out those front axles for standard ones since those wheels are different offset then rc10 worlds front wheels.

Re: B1M RC10 Mid Motor Conversion
Holy cow, that came out nice!!!
Great work man.
I'll be curious to see what kind of ideas people come up with for that space at the rear... only thing I could think of is maybe the receiver, but that would just be kind of silly. Hey, how about a fake VW motor?
