That gear cover looks like a replacement for the Hirobo cars like the 44b. Scoot Mike might need that

Nice ID! Didn't think about it being for a non-MRP car but you might be right. Looks a lot like the gear cover on the Zerda pictured on rc-car-museum.de.

That gear cover does look like a Zerda one , might be worth trying to make a mold off it , I'm sure a few would sell , I'd take one for a start !
If a jobs not worth doing then its certainly not worth doing well.

Yep looks zerdaish. Tease it out of the bag and pic it on a ruler?

Re: The Official "What is it?" Thread
Yeah it is most likely for the Zerda. Before Gomachv mentioned the Zerda, I had forgotten MRP made the Kong...which was a Zerda monster truck...so it makes sense.
I already talked to mytimac about doing repops but he's backed up, and not doing new molds yet. I haven't asked TBG since I don't really need any of their repro bodies at the moment. Also I read something about them being off eBay now, and trying to set up their own site, but I'm not really sure.
Edit: On a side note I also figured out that the motor plate looks to be for some version of the MRP/Jomac Class D Racing Car (maybe the Datsun Baja ATV). It's a little hard to recognize because it's got some extra material behind the motor mount.

Re: The Official "What is it?" Thread
Can anyone identify this RC vehicle. It's 1/8 scale, and very similar to a Kyosho Inferno.
Thanks Mark

If it was pre 1993 we probably could have helped

Heya Folks! I'm back from the dead! This time with a little something extra. Working on a Nitro Project, and was hoping for some help in identifying the chassis.
Heres the engine thatll go in it. .21 Novarossi Kangaroo, 9 port. Anyone know anything about this engine?

This was found in a 10T. Looks like stealth mounting pattern. this back idler gear and bushings were in it. It's obviously an MIP, but I thought the SP-1 was the MIP stealth offering. What do I have here?

That’s a change box. Was designed to change the ratio of the stealth to a 2.61
