Some MXL pulleys to complete the transmission of one of the 44B chassis in case I can't find original parts, and some materials to do attempts at pourring tires...
So what did you get in the post today ???

If a jobs not worth doing then its certainly not worth doing well.

It was a good day. My Turbo Optima wheels arrived, and Big Jim's motor book did too.

Early Christmas presents from Ed. 3D printed wheels, body posts, and battery strap for the FXT. And some various sized spring locators, clamps, and cups.
Two of the bags are custom sized to fit big bore and Traxxas springs to early AE (and other) shocks. The fit is awesome.
Thanks again.

Picked up some VTA wheels and tyres for a few projects.... these have become somewhat rare here in Oz, so got what I consider a good deal on them.

Alex
Weirdly, it's quite difficult to work out what are front tyres, and what are rears.... makes me think I don't have three full sets, but instead a bit of a mish-mash. No problem, only have a need for one set at the moment

This Sand Rover chassis today , it's broken in the usual place for the front spring mounts but otherwise very clean , minimal scratches underneath and virtually mint at the suspension mounting point makes me think this got little use .
If a jobs not worth doing then its certainly not worth doing well.

I really need to remove Marui from my search terms...
A Ninja arrived today, with its box.

A very quick inspection show a very little use (chassis is almost new and both arms, chassis and battery door are like new). It's complete, the way it was stored was improper as metal parts are rusted, but it has a very good potential for an nice restoration...

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???
For Christmas, I bought myself a RB10, without the RTR. I have about 26 minutes of internet research that makes me think this should work.
Santa brought most of it quicker than expected, and tomorrow is a PTO day, so I will find out soon enough.

I build RCs like people would have done back in the '90s ..................................... if they had 3D printers.

Whoa! That is a serious rubber band shooter!
When I was a kid, we used our fingers. Actually hitting something was a special event to be celebrated.
