I just hope that they do a run of spare parts. I'd love to pick up some transmission parts at a reasonable price.

AE said no spare clear parts. I asked Curtis directly and "no comment".

I'm not concerned with clear parts. But Six Gear transmission parts are starting to get stupid, so some spares would be nice.

Probably the wrong place to ask this, but generally speaking with shelf queens, are y'all putting shock oil in the shocks or just leaving them dry? I've been slowly collecting some old cars and rebuilding them and was just curious what others are doing.
Currently have as shelf queens;
RC10 Carbon
RC10CC (on pre-order)
RC10GT black chassis (currently rebuilding this one)
RC10T (Grey shocks)
RC10B4.2
RC10T3
RC10T4
RC10B44.1
Losi 22
Losi 22 3.0

I always have to put oil in, the first thing anyone does when they pick up an RC car is to play with the suspension. On a Losi this means adding oil every few months

I too put oil in all of my shocks. I am going to assemble some new Losi shocks for my Proformance, so I will see how long it takes for a leak to appear.

On ones I don't plan to run, I use green slime and then add just a little oil. This way they are lubricated, but won't drain out all over everything over time.

Beat me to it. If you're not going to add oil to the shocks, at least coat the O-rings in something like Associated's Green Slime for instance.

You can pour oil on your shelf you know, just for the experience....

going to be honest, almost all of my Losis have oil in them and don't seem to leak...the Hydra drives on the other hand....
Consistency is the key I keep misplacing.

Reminds me of the old joke about how Harleys don't leak, they just mark their territory.
