Re: RC10 Classic 40th anniversary
It seems a bit spendy for a 2WD re-re. Ultima is 279. Cougar is 249. And yes, I do realize I may be the only person on earth who considers those 2 to be a fair comparison to the RC10 This might be one of those rare occasions when I am rewarded for having bad taste...

Now we get to see if AE or FanRC has a better product. Given past performance who knows.Frankentruck wrote: ↑Mon Apr 15, 2024 4:34 pm I was looking to see if any spare parts are being made available and came across this. Available late May? What the heck?!?

Re: RC10 Classic 40th anniversary
I think they are a pretty fair comparison. The cars would have similar production costs so AE seem to know they can mint money on these. For the $420 shipped I could get good condition OG car and know spare parts will be available.1911Colt wrote: ↑Mon Apr 15, 2024 4:51 pm It seems a bit spendy for a 2WD re-re. Ultima is 279. Didn't pay attention to this on first glance, but what looked like stickers is actually laser etching:
A couple other interesting bits from AE's Instagram page:
Looks like each kit is numbered...
"40" stamped chassis

Did they go back to the original exterior "look". The '93 WC rere cases had that bit of webbing, yeah?Frankentruck wrote: ↑Mon Apr 15, 2024 4:34 pm I was looking to see if any spare parts are being made available and came across this. Available late May? What the heck?!?

Re: RC10 Classic 40th anniversary
The rere Stealth case had the motor plate spacers integrated into it, so if this is a real rerere case, it could be back to the original case design.TRX-1-3 wrote: ↑Mon Apr 15, 2024 7:51 pmDid they go back to the original exterior "look". Re: RC10 Classic 40th anniversary
They had been selling that case from before the rere in 2013, much better case too. The stealth trans kits and all the worlds cars came with the rere world's case though. I'd be surprised if they changed, they didn't seem to fix any of the other stuff like the front shock tower and it was pretty obvious lol
It's time to stand up to the bully. Support the companies that support the industry, not the ones that tear it down. Say no to Traxxas

3/4 of the way down the page is this:
Been wanting to build The Dead Pool vette for a long time now. This might be my chance.
I know the real body in the film is the Parma #10218, but the Bolink 63 Coupe is really close.
