It's the first ever, RC10 40th anniversary race - to see who gets theirs first. Harmless speculation and entertainment while we wait.

Yeah I'm not worried too much, it's not like we ordered from Tower hahaha

Now, I do wish a TH pre-order member was here. That would be interesting! I just looked at their site and they just say Unavailable; with no option to order. That is probably the best bet for them!

I'm 0-2 on interest for 40th anniversary offerings. Hoping for something good at some point.

Seems like our LHS’ distributor is in possession of their allotment…. not allowed to ship them until Friday per AE
Who do you race for ?
Me……. I race for me.
That’s impossible, I was told you need a sponsor to race.
Hey Cru ! Go balls out 8)

Almost anything besides gimmicky 6 gear short arm cars.

I personally think AE should have released a Stealth CE car.

They should have released the CE stealth as a 34th anniversary kit.

Not even as a 34th anniversary car but one to fill the gap of prior releases and inject parts into the market.

Got an email from AE today and went to my ups account and the tracking number had been automatically added to my account. I'm in the 1200's for pre order and in NY.

Still nothing from Amain, just reads pending/waiting for stock on the account.

It isn't 40 yet, but how about the original RC10T? Trucks were hugely popular where I raced, so that is my idea of vintage AE.

I just got an email that my order just got shipped.

Any recommendations of electronics for this kit ? I was checking on the Reedy 540-SL4 motor and Reedy SC600-BL2 ESC. 15kg servo maybe ?

No idea which transmitter to get these days.

Thanks !

I’m going retro-mod on this and darn it’s hard to find current production (non-crawler) brushed motors for dirt buggies. Thinking the Tamiya Sport Tuned is the easy answer. Any other suggestions?

To keep this on topic, a Re-re AE brushed 540 motor would be the icing on the cake for these anniversary cars. AmIrite?
