I sure hope nobody breaks a part.
While it is stronger than SLA and could be driven, it was manufactured as a display piece for your collection. The polycarbonate clear components will only be available in the kit. They will not be sold individually.

Parts are gonna be fragile too imo, even putting a screw into clear plastic can sometimes crack it out. I'm interested to see how this is gonna go

I agree. I would run a 4-40 & 8-32 tap through all of the holes since it's a shelfer.

Reminds me of the clear Revell visible engine models from back in the day.

If it's good quality polycarbonate then screws should not split out , after all it's what bullet proof glass is made from , still best left on the shelf though .
If a jobs not worth doing then its certainly not worth doing well.
A problem shared is a problem halved but an advantage shared is no advantage at all.

I don't even really like it ................. but for $319, you kinda have to try to get one right?
I build RCs like people would have done back in the '90s ..................................... if they had 3D printers.

They said none of the clear parts will be sold separately, I hope they make enough of the metal parts and such to keep us happy for another year or so

I guess that means we might see some silver anno chassis/nose/motor plates pop up before long now too.

So Cool! I would consider this the first “Stealth” transmission. Totally invisible to police radar.

I hope this starts a consistent stream of pre-order kits. If they presell the kits before they make them then the risk is near zero of being stuck with unsold items.
Hopefully RPM can be convinced to make some parts for this as well.

I'll pick one up if I get the chance. It's a pretty unique product.
