Reedy had this as well. From what I've read, it was supposedly nice.

there was a significant structural design difference between the CRF design and the Checkpoint (that the reedy is likely based on) : in the CRF, the brushes are angled 45degrees... this was the enabler for lesser comm/brush wear because it miminized brush bounce.

(the V2 design ran cooler as the head was one big allow fin - the SV2 didn't have this... to note, the "original" checkpoints with the square brushes had a full alloy head too  )

wait wait wait it DOES say TOM on the head... now, this is a serious mystery to me I will admit...
I was installing this Orion Rush motor in a truck and noticed the "TOM" marking on the endbell.

The plastic part of the can does look very similar to that Orion , the thin plastic vanes don't chamber off though , otherwise it's spot on .

Sadly I think it's a current model as I just found one in stock with a shop

yup - that is a proper SV2 for sure. Not a current model, the round CRF-based brush thing has long been out of prod :)

I'm still confused by the TO*M* though... why move away from Team Orion Peak, I have no idea.

Radio box is for a srb series (scorcher, rough rider etc)

The chassis are Tamiya xr311 or Lamborghini Cheetah.

Was going to say exactly this.

Anyone know who made this body? It's not the Parma '36 Ford that the RCCA article claims it is...and I can't match it to any other Parma, or Bolink body.

Got these in a large lot. Not really sure what they're for.
Twister made 1/12 tires?
And I have no idea what the other tires are for? 1/18 scale something?
Thanks for the help.

I bought this car many years ago and I may have bought it from a member here.

TC3 or TC4? I can't remember, and all the CF is throwing me off.

I bought it because it I have a TC4 I use for running around in the street or parking lot.

Picture of the body to help anyone here if I bought it from them.

Looks more like the 39 Chevy from Parma.
