MIP won't reissue the 410 Legend kit, but they will make a buttsink. So what is a buttsink?

anyone recognize this aluminum end bell? no markings I can see. it came mismatched on a 480 Gold I picked up locally.
Had this for a little while but only just now realized it's made from CC style graphite (and not plastic). Anyone know what it is? It's about 65mm/10 7/16" long.

Yokomo 870c backbone - quite a rare part these days as most tossed them and put a topdeck on.
That Nova motor was probably from someone transferring the original label to a stock motor many years ago. On to something else (unless someone knows of it being a real Nova stock motor).
So this bottom loader shock with matching end cap seems like an Associated clone, but I'm not sure what it goes to. I just have this one, but might like a set of them.

Traxxas hard shocks, still available. Good shocks!

It's time to stand up to the bully. Support the companies that support the industry, not the ones that tear it down. Say no to Traxxas Factory Works website

They list them as their "Big Bore" shocks, even though they are standard size.
But as Jeff said, they are good shocks.

Are there different versions? F-ntruck's seem to have octagonal caps vs smooth/round, different bottom spring retainers, coated shafts, and beefier rod ends.

I added another view of mine. I did a quick Traxxas check and there do look to be different cap and body options, and prices seem ok on them.
Looking at my 'shoved in the corner for future project' TRX-1, the shocks with it look very similar. I just wasn't thinking about them I guess.

Traxxas long front shocks part number 4760 looks like traxxas have very resently deleted them from production but they’re still around on eBay etc. they were originally produced in blue ano then when to a light grey hard and with blue caps on the trx-1 and blue eagle onwards and more resently the dark grey bodies. The rear x-long shocks th match are part # 4761.
The “big bore” versions are part numbers 2660 and 2661 and where on the trx3, tcp ,SRT onwards they have a stepped cap and a step on the bottom of the cylinder where the seals go in aswell.
Franks eyelets look to be kyosho maybe? Definitely not original traxxas
The last set I bought had the gold shafts in the rears but not the fronts was really disappointing
