Lowgear and I had talked about something like that, basic black or white over clear RC10TALK.COM decals that could be used in place of an AE stickers on vehicle builds, as a members only item... I like your idea of adding the tracer though, that could be cool.Frankentruck wrote: ↑Tue Oct 08, 2024 12:43 pm How about something based on the classic Team Associated decal? The little car could be a buggy silhouette. Not sure what would replace the ae. Maybe a capital RC with the end of the C going into the long line behind the car, and 10Talk.com on top of the line?

If the new logo is based on a Team Associated logo, I would highly recommend getting the blessing from Curtis or Steve in writing to avoid any future IP problems. AE has made it clear in the last couple months that you aren't even allowed to use the word RC10 or Stealth, so copying an outline or previously logo might also get them riled up.

^^^ definitely this
Assuming we have permission, the RC10 B2 logo design would lend itself nicely to the RC10 talk logo.

#6 has the appearance of speed and simplicity, the angled silhouetted RC10 image seems perfect for me.

I'd prefer #8 over #6 but either would be fine.

Yeah, they are both cool, but I picked #8.

I had my own concerns, but wanted to throw these out there to get opinions to see if they mirrored my own. You guys have reaffirmed my belief that we should gravitate away from using anything that can potentially get us in any kind of trouble. It certainly isn't my intent to step on any toes. I feel as if AE is cool but Thunder Tiger not so much which I get from a corporate standpoint.
Here's a pic of the RC10Talk decal sheets we had at one point. I can't remember who made it all happen or if there's any more sheets floating around.

If you don't have anyone to make them, reach out to Boki. His pricing is awesome and he can handle any quantity. They could be die cut as well.

Mrlexan had those sheets printed. Al sent me a high quality scan of his uncut sheet many years ago for me to have more made. It just never happened, and I'm not sure where the file is.

Just a thought Scr8p, seems like Danderuss has a knack doing this kind of thing...maybe he could fix the original one you had put together with the wheel/AE tire for the 10 year shirts? Seems like at the time that really kinda just needed the AE more prominant and the knobbies fixed if I remember right anyway....

Thanks for the tip. I'll keep them in mind. It would be ideal if we could find a print-on-demand dropshipper though I think.
Ah, so it was Mrlexan which makes sense. Shame you can't find the file not that it's a big deal.
Funny you should bring that up! He's already worked on it.klavy69 wrote: ↑Thu Oct 10, 2024 1:41 am Just a thought Scr8p, seems like Danderuss has a knack doing this kind of thing...maybe he could fix the original one you had put together with the wheel/AE tire for the 10 year shirts? Just what i was remembering anyway. Thought it was discussed putting the rc10talk.com logo as tore lettering to get around it. Been awhile but yeah, makes sense.
The person who tried the shirts can print stuff on an on demand type situation as he does it more as a hobby than a business.

My thought on the similar to standard RC10 decal was: (probably too close?)
. .
But R1C0 Talk.com would be ok, right?
