Modern stick packs will not fit transverse in a RC10 chassis. In this picture, it doesn't even fit without the mounting cups.

What tools would you use to cut the aluminum? Dremel or something larger? What bits?

I think you are furthering your education, by figuring out f the Pyramids would ahve been better built from RC cars.
